Gold Medals awarded to pass-outs of 2009 by WBSCTE


Two students of Fashion Technology branch and Medical Lab Technology branch of Women's polytechnic, Agartala have stood first in their respective branches in the Final examination June, 2009, out of forty-five Polytechnic Institutes under West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, Kolkata. The two students, Miss Nanda Debnath of Fashion Technology and Miss Manti Saha of Medical Lab Technology, have been awarded GOLD Medals for their outstanding performance and securing the FIRST position in their respective branches during a Felicitation Programme held on the 15th December, 2009 organised by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education .


Students of Women's Polytechnic topped in the University


Women's Polytechnic students stood first in the result of the even Semester in the Diploma Engineering 4th Semester Exam, 2009. Miss Manti Saha of Medical Lab Technology branch stood FIRST in the University results, whereas the Second position has been secured by Miss Durgabati Poddar of Computer Science & Technology branch and Third position has been secured by Miss Sanjukta Singha of Computer Science & Technology branch.


 Saraswati Puja celebrated


Saraswati Puja has been celebrated in the Institute's campus in fun filled atmosphere. All the students actively participated. It was indeed a moment to cherish with the DHOL & BHAJNA.


 IBM visited Women's Polytechnic

The representatives of the IBM Technologies, one of the giant IT industries in the country, had visited Women's Polytechnic campus on the 8th of February, 2010. The representatives had an interaction session for few hours with the students of the IT and CST branches whereby several fields of carreer, opportunities and courses that will help build one's future were discussed by the resources from the IBM.


HCL visited Women's Polytechnic


The representatives of the HCL Technologies, one of the IT giants in the country both in Hardware and Networking, had visited Women's Polytechnic campus on the 16th of February, 2010. The representatives had an interaction session for about two hours with the students of the IT and CST branches whereby several fields of carreer, opportunities and courses that will help build one's future were discussed by the representatives from the HCL. They have also extended their support in any kind of means that may be possible under their protocol.
